Meet Our Team
Dr. Gillian Yeates
Dr. Gillian Yeates has been practicing general obstetrics and gynecology at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital since 2000. Serving the women of the Georgian Bay area, she has a special interest in urinary incontinence and pelvic floor prolapse. Obstetrically, she provides vaginal breech delivery services in efforts to keep Cesarean section rates low, while providing safe deliveries. Fertility services include investigations, ovulation induction and tubal reversals.
Dr. Yeates grew up in Brampton, Ontario. She graduated cum laude from Harvard University concentrating in Biology. She attended medical school at Dalhousie University in Halifax. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at London's University of Western Ontario. Since obtaining her fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada she has been living and working in Collingwood with her husband and two children.
Dr. Robin Stark
Dr. Robyn Carnell joined the practice in July 2019. She grew up in Barrie and had long planned to return to the region after completing her training. She is thrilled to now call Collingwood home.
Dr. Carnell completed her undergraduate degree in Genetics at the University of Western Ontario. She then went to McMaster University for medical school and returned to Western for her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program. She became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2019. She enjoys the variety of patients she sees in her general Obstetric and Gynecologic practice.
Following her recent wedding, she will be practicing under her married name shortly as Dr. Robyn Stark.
